The brief

Onē makes small-batch tableware by hand. The founders wanted an identity that felt as considered as the work itself, without ever competing with it on the shelf or in the studio.

The approach

We drew a single mark from the shape of a kiln peephole and set everything else in one restrained grotesk. The orange is borrowed from the atelier’s first test glaze, and it appears exactly once on every touchpoint.

Stamps replaced printed labels, so each box is finished by hand in the same room where the cups are thrown.

The outcome

The new identity launched with the spring collection. Wholesale enquiries doubled in the first quarter, and the stamp kit is now part of the atelier’s workshop experience.
